2024-2025 Season Tryout Dates
- You must attend at least 1 tryout to be considered for a Triple Cities Volleyball girls or boys team.
- Parents are not allowed in the building during the tryout sessions. You may enter to assist with registration and parent meeting.
- Information on practice times and team fees will be posted on the website prior to the tryout dates.
Players interested in non-travel options can register for the Skills-League or Volley kids starting in November. We do not have non travel option for players over u15.
Girls Teams: ALL Ages
Travel teams are focused on players who may want to play in college. Players will be sorted by grad year, skill, and desire to play at highest levels they can. Travel team fees for u13 -u17 for the 24-25 season are $2250. Teams will participate in 8 tournaments. U12 team info is TBA.

How do we Select Players?
The Club Director makes the final decision on all roster placements with input from the Coaching Staff. Selection for Triple Cities Teams will be based on but not limited to the following criteria:
- Player performance during tryouts (skill level, effort, interactions with coaches and other players, athleticism).
- Athletic potential and development.
- Attitude, Attitude, Attitude.
- Player evaluations from last season, school season, or camp performance.
- Past history of parental involvement or behavior.
We typically email roster spots with in 24 hours of the last tryout. Exceptions will be noted on the website and our Facebook page.
BOYS Teams
Players will be signed up in an open gym or local league play format depending on numbers, if there are 8+ who would like and are able to travel for competition, we will arrange for the team to travel.
Sundays 4 pm-6 pm.
Practice Start Dates:

Practices will be at West/East Middle Schools, BHS, Ben Franklin Elem, Bulldogs Sport Complex, or the West Family Y on week nights, Tuesday/Thursday 7-8:45 and at the Bulldogs Sport Complex on Sundays, 9am-1pm.
*We assume players who are coming to tryouts will accept offered roster positions. However per the region, players have 2 weeks to accept an offer from the date it is made, if you are trying out at multiple clubs please let us know as that may affect when people accept their roster invitations and the number given out. We will start practices In November.*
Grade Levels vs USA Volleyball Age Levels
Triple Cities feels that participating at your grade level allows more players to participate on teams with their peer group. This also places players on teams with similar "years" of experience, and maturity levels. Once they are in high school this helps with the recruiting process for payers looking to play in college.
All players will be grouped by academic grad year for the current 2024/2025 school year. Players will be notified if they fall into an alternate (older) division based on USAV Restrictions.
The club director may allow individuals to attend an alternate age group at the second try out, this also governs players that may need to play with a grade level lower due to their USAV Age. Please notify Coach Baker prior to tryouts if you feel you should be placed on a team "older" or "younger" than your current grade level for any reason (date of birth or skill level).
