Astrid Baker

Astrid Baker started this club six years ago to afford opportunities to her own children and to the many others who wanted to play. She has been coaching youth sports since 2000 working with ages 5 and up, she has been coaching volleyball since 2009. Astrid has coached Modified, Varsity, and club volleyball from u8 through u18. Coach Baker has been a court coach and evaluator for the USA HP evaluation tryouts and XLRVA region HP tryout process for 9 years along with assisting at local D1 summer camps. Coach Baker continues to educate herself in the changing game with clinics, networking and training courses.
Licenses: PCA Level 1, AOC Head Coach Level 1, USAV Impact, ELM Level 1, DASA/Safe, CPR/AED First Aid, CDC Heads Up Concussion, NYS coaching license in progress.
Keelin Baker
Volleykids Coach and
Assistant at large
Keelin Baker has been playing for 12 years. She has played for the IREVA/XLRVA HP National and International teams. She was a member of the USA A1 Women's Junior National team in 2019, she was recruited to Lock Haven U during COVID and she is playing currently with SUNY Morrisville. Keelin has been an assistant coach for 5 years. Coach Baker has been a court coach and trainer for camps and clinics. She continues to educate herself in the changing game while playing at the collegiate level, with clinics and coaching courses in college. Keelin has received the conference tournament MVP in 2022. She currently studying Excersize Science.

Carmen Roehm
u16 Assistant Coach
Carmen played in School at UE for 6 years, club, and was the Varsity assistant at UE for the 22 and 23 seasons helping the team to the sectional playoffs 2 years in a row. Coach Roehm is a Phys Ed teacher with a lot of Athletic training experience.

Tia Wright
Social Media Director
Head Coach
Tia has been with Triple Cities since its inception. Coach Tia played at SUNY Potsdam from 2011-2014 where she started volunteering with another club team on her school breaks. Tia started out her coaching as the Maine Endwell JV Volleyball coach and assisted alongside Coach Baker. She is currently the JV coach for Susquehanna Valley. She constantly growing her volleyball knowledge by playing in adult leagues, speaking with other coaches, and research.

Gabriella Amelio
u16 Black Head Coach
Gabby is gong into her fourth year with Triple Cities. She started playing at 9. Gabby played on the IREVA/XLVRA international team for 3 years and was a varsity starter for 5 years. Coach Amelio played for Towson for 1 season and SUNY Cortland for 3 where she was captain all 3 years and is listed in the top 15 for service aces and a 2 x Red Letter Award (MVP) winner. Gabby has coached Volley Kids programs from 9th grade to present, she has been head coach and court coach for multiple volleyball camps and clinics. She has been coaching club for 5+ years and the current Varsity Coach at Susquehanna Valley.

Boys Head Coach
Coach mike has been with the club for 5 years. He has been coaching volleyball for 16 years at high school, collegiate, and club levels. Coach Shea has been working diligently to get the boy's program started in our area.

Aubrey Baker
Volleykids Coach

Aubrey has been playing since she was 9, she was an All Conference player 3 years, All State team 2 years, and her club teams have gone to USAV Nationals 3 times. She is currently playing for Merrimack College in the MAAC Conference. Aubrey has be assistant coaching with the club for 3 years and is studying Exercise Science and Athletic Training.
