  • Parents are not allowed in the building during the tryout sessions. You may enter to assist with registration and parent meeting.
  • Information on practice times and team fees will be posted on the website prior to the tryout dates.

Players interested in non-travel options can register for the Skills-League or Volley kids programs.  We do not have non-travel option for players over u15.

Girls Teams: ALL Ages

Travel teams are focused on developing players who may want to play in college. Players will be sorted by grad year, skill, and desire to play at highest levels they can.

Travel team fees for u13 -u17 for the 25-26 season are $2250. Teams practice 3x a week and will participate in 8 tournaments.

u12 team season is $1485.  The team will practice 2x a week and participate in 6 in tournaments.

u18s - We have found that the u18 age is a difficult year with the end of high school activities and many girls finishing playing sports competitively.  We will only run a u18 team if there are enough athletes who want to play in college and need to run a competitive season to prepare for their collegiate teams.

What Should I Expect at Tryouts?

Tryout info for players ---> 2024

Clubs within our region are required to give players and their families 14 days to decide on a club offer. You may return your decision sooner.
Making It Official: When you're ready to accept an offer, it must be in writing or through a verifiable electronic document, dated and signed by an adult parent or guardian. This makes the commitment clear and binding.
We believe in transparency and fairness, allowing every athlete to choose the best path for their development.

How do we Select Players?

The Club Director makes the final decision on all roster placements with input from the Coaching Staff.  Selection for Triple Cities Teams will be based on but not limited to the following criteria:

  2. Athletic potential and development.
  3. Attitude, Attitude, Attitude.
  4. Player evaluations from last season, school season, or camp performance.
  5. Past history of parental involvement or behavior.

We typically email roster spots with in 24 hours of the last tryout.  Exceptions will be noted on the website and our Facebook page.

*We assume players who are coming to tryouts will accept offered roster positions. Grade Levels vs USA Volleyball Age Levels

Triple Cities feels that participating at your grade level allows more players to participate on teams with their peer group. This also places players on teams with similar "years" of experience, and maturity levels. Once they are in high school this helps with the recruiting process for athletes looking to play in college.

All players will be grouped by academic grad year for the current 2025/2026 school year.  Players will be notified if they fall into an alternate division based on USAV age definitions.

The club director may allow individuals to attend an alternate age group at the second try out, this also governs players that may need to play with a grade level lower due to their USAV Age.  Please notify Coach Baker prior to tryouts if you feel you should be placed on a team "older" or "younger" than your current grade level for any reason (date of birth or skill level).
